Panama City’s Annual Wedding Day Giveaway

As the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Michael approached, we began brainstorming a way to give back to our community in a BIG way and what’s bigger than a FREE WEDDING?! As a way to bring excitement back into Panama City, we partnered with several other vendors throughout the panhandle to kick-off “Panama City’s Annual Wedding Day Giveaway” which was held at Live Oak Wedding and Special Events Venue in Vernon, Florida. 

We asked for nominations on Facebook and selected Caitlyn and Jovani as the first year’s recipients of the wedding giveaway. These high school sweethearts have two beautiful children and we loved getting to be a part of celebrating their marriage! 

By adding decor and rentals to the already beautiful Live Oak Venue, we were able to create a fun, fall wedding with accents of garnet, navy blue and greenery! The intimate ceremony among the trees was followed by an evening lit under string lights! 

Weddings and Events by Misty did an excellent job coordinating and making November 10th the best day ever! She made sure that Caitlyn had the best experience not only on the day of her wedding but the whole planning experience as well. 

Caitlyn and Jovani will remember this day forever with a huge thanks to CMC Photography, Grace Lyn Photography and C&C Photography! With two photographers and a videographer, Panama City’s Annual Wedding Day Giveaway was even more special than we could have hoped for!

With over 100 guests present, DJ Brian Thomaston brought the party and had the dance floor full the entire night! The guests also enjoyed delicious, southern food from Vittles Catering and a beautiful jewel-toned cake from RELAX and Eat Cake! 

Jovani tied the knot in a handsome garnet suit provided by Black Tie Formalwear, whom also clothed the Groomsmen. Caitlyn wore a beautiful wedding dress provided by Simply Elegant Bridal in Fort Walton Beach and her hair and makeup was perfect thanks to Pelli Llewellyn. Her Bridesmaids complimented the theme with a combination of navy and garnet dresses. They also looked stunning with their hair done by Hair by Tanesha Brown and Makeup by Christina Engman.

The ceremony would not have been complete without the beautiful floral arrangements donated by Forget Me Knot Florals! The bright bouquets were the perfect touch to their ceremony! 

The guests not only walked away with full hearts and full bellies but handmade soap favors by St. Joe Soap Company! 

November 10th was a special day for so many reasons, and we are so, so thankful for all the vendors who helped make this day happen! The Celebration Place looks forward to continuing the giveaway in Panama City for years to come.
